Oury Jalloh: Mord in der Zelle

EINLADUNG ZUM MOBILISIERUNGSTREFFEN IN BERLIN

Es ist jetzt ein Jahr her, seit Oury Jalloh in einer Polizeizelle in Dessau ermordet worden ist, lebend verbrannt und an Händen und Füssen gefesselt. 13 Monaten nach dieser brutalen Tat gibt es immer noch keine Gerechtigkeit, kein Gerichtsprozess hat angefangen, die verantwortlichen Polizeibeamten und der Arzt arbeiten noch immer dort und die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass die Anklagen eingestellt werden ist sehr groß. Stattdessen kriminalisieren und verfolgen die Autoritäten Mouctar Bah; der Mensch die sich am Meisten im Mordfall von Oury Jalloh im Kampf für Wahrheit und Gerechtigkeit eingesetzt hat. Am 7. Februar ist sein Telecafe geschlossen worden- im „öffentlichen Interesse“. Dieses Cafe war seine finanzielle Grundlage und der Treffpunkt für die Initiative in Gedenken an Oury Jalloh in Dessau.

Die Geschehnisse in Dessau sind nur der Gipfel des Eisbergs der Situation in Deutschland und Europa. Die alltägliche Realität von Flüchtlingen und MigrantInnen wird jeden Tag drastischer; mehr Gewalt, mehr Kontrollen, mehr Abschiebungen, mehr Hass, mehr Ausgrenzung, mehr Verfolgung, mehr Kriminalisierung. Die Ermordung von Oury Jalloh ist nur ein Beispiel. Die Verfolgung und Kriminalisierung von Mouctar Bah nur ein anderer. Beide Fälle und die Verbrechen die tagtäglich gegen Flüchtlinge und MigrantInnen in diesem Land stattfinden, können in einem Wort zusammengefasst werden: Terror.

Gleichzeitig gibt es ein Schweigen in dieser Gesellschaft, ein Schweigen, welches mit der zunehmenden Verschlechterung der Situation wächst. Mehr Repression bedeutet mehr Schweigen bedeutet mehr Repression bedeutet mehr Schweigen. Gleichzeitig bleiben die Verantwortlichen straffrei, sei es für Abschiebungen, Polizeigewalt, rassistische Kontrollen oder sogar Mord. Als Folge davon nehmen die Äußerungen von Rassismus, Faschismus und Hass zu, angestachelt durch das Schweigen in der Gesellschaft, auch von den Linken. Weil auch die Linken, nicht nur in dem Fall von Oury Jalloh, aber auch im Allgemeinen, still gehalten haben. Es gab ein Paar Worte und kaum Aktionen. Das kann so nicht weitergehen!

Wir fragen alle, die sich solidarisch erklären mit den Kämpfen von Flüchtlingen und MigrantInnen und die sich gegen die aktuelle Welle von Terror gegen AusländerInnen stellen, aufzustehen und zu zeigen, dass sie es ernst meinen, nicht nur mit Worten sondern auch mit Taten. Also, wir rufen alle Gruppen, Personen und Vereine dringend auf, unsere Forderungen in dem Mordfall Oury Jalloh zu unterstützen und für eine bundesweite Demonstration in Dessau am 1 April 2006 zu mobilisieren.

Wenn wir überhaupt etwas erreichen wollen dann werden wir es erst durch Aktionen mit den Forderungen aufzuhören mit Terror, Straflosigkeit, Kriminalisierung und der Unterdrückung von Flüchtlingen und MigrantInnen. Außerdem müssen wir den Autoritäten deutlich machen, dass wir kein andere Antwort im Mordfall Oury Jalloh akzeptieren als:

Wahrheit, Gerechtigkeit, Entschädigung!

Oury Jalloh: Murder in a Police Cell

INVITATION TO A MOBILIZATION MEETING IN BERLIN

It is now over one year since Oury Jalloh was murdered in a police cell in Dessau—burned alive while tied at his hands and feet. Thirteen months after this brutal act, no justice has been done, no court proceedings have begun, the responsible police and doctor continue their work, and the probability that all charges will be dropped are extremely high. Instead, the authorities of Dessau are persecuting and criminalizing Mouctar Bah; the person who has most engaged himself in the fight for truth and justice on the murder of Oury Jalloh. On the 7th of February, his Telecafé, which is the basis of his financial existence and the meeting place for the Initiative in Memory of Oury Jalloh, has been closed—out of “public interest.”

The events of Dessau are just the tip of the iceberg of a situation in Germany and Europe. The everyday reality for refugees and migrants is becoming more drastic each and every day; more violence, more control, more deportations, more hatred, more segregation, more persecution, more criminalization. The murder of Oury Jalloh is just one example. The persecution and criminalization of Mouctar Bah is just another. Altogether, these crimes being committed on a daily basis against foreigners in this country can be summed up in one word—terror.

Currently, there is a silence permeating this society which parallels the worsening situation. More repression equals more silence equals more repression equals more silence. Meanwhile, the impunity for those responsible continues, be it for deportations, police brutality, racist controls or even murder. As a result, the acts of racism, fascism, and hatred increase, fueled and abetted by the silence of the society, even from the left. Because the left, too, not only in the case of Dessau and the murder of Oury Jalloh, but also in general, has been silent. There have been few words and almost no actions. This cannot continue!

We are asking all of those in solidarity with the struggle of refugees and migrants and against the current wave of terror directed against foreigners to stand up and show that they mean it—with actions and not just with words. Consequently, we are making an urgent call on all groups, persons, and associations to strengthen our demands in the case of the murder of Oury Jalloh and to mobilize for the nation-wide demonstration in Dessau on the 1st of April.

If we are to achieve anything then it must be through actions and DEMANDING: stop the terror, stop the impunity, stop the criminalization, and stop the oppression of refugees and migrants. And to let them know that we will accept no other response in the murder of Oury Jalloh than:

TRUTH, JUSTICE, REPARATIONS!
